9150 support on RLCs
On pages 2, 14, 107, and 178 of the Reach Line Card Installation and
Administration Guide (NTP 555-8421-210), it states that a single RLC supports
a maximum of four Remote Office 9150 units. This release enables a single RLC
to support a maximum of eight Remote Office 9150 units.

Supported telephone models

On page 23 of the Reach Line Card Installation and Administration Guide (NTP
555-8421-210), note ii states, "On the host PBX, you must configure M3901
digital telephone sets as M3902 digital telephone sets for proper operation with
Remote Office 911x series units or Meridian Digital Telephone IP Adapters".
Disregard this note. The correct information is as follows:
M3901 digital telephone set support
Remote Office allows you to use M3901 digital telephone sets for
local (locally controlled) calls or for remote (host-controlled)
calls, not both. For local (locally controlled) calls, configure the
digital telephone set as an M3901 at both the remote unit and the
host PBX. For remote (host-controlled) calls, configure the
digital telephone set as an M3901 at the remote unit and as an
M3902 at the host PBX.

Page 149 of the Reach Line Card Installation and Administration Guide
(NTP 555-8421-210) includes the explanation of the RLC System Configuration
property sheet. This property sheet contains a new button called "Advanced
Configuration". Below is a discussion of the elements of the Advanced
Configuration dialog box.
NLP
The non-linear processor (NLP) works with the Remote Office echo canceller to
reduce echo. Echo occurs in a telephone call when the transmitted signal reflects
and is received by the transmitting device. To cancel the echo, the Remote
Office system monitors the audio stream looking for echo. When echo is
