Installation Preparations
Figure 2.1-1below is a flowchart for GR2000-B installation. Plan ahead so that the
work for installing LAN cables, other communication equipment, and access to
facilities power can be finished in time for the installation of the GR2000-B.
The installation of the GR2000-B, from deciding on a system configuration to
running a system, should be done by the customer. However, Hitachi offers
installation services, system setup, and field technical assistance at additional
charge. For details, contact your nearest Hitachi sales office.
(1) What sort of and where the
router should be used?
(2) Check environment where
the router is to be placed.
(4) Decide on a installation layout.
(5) Prepare facility equipment
(cables, rack, etc,)
(6) Installation for power supply
and WAN/LAN cable setting.
(8) HITACHI delivers the router.
(9) Perform Installation of router.
(10) Setup of configuration.
(11) Test system operation.
(12) Place router in service.
