Make sure that the power plug is clean when you insert it into the device or into
the AC source. A fire or an electric shock can be caused by dust or incomplete
connection.
Do not insert any foreign objects into
the device or the ventilation slots.
Doing so may cause fire or electric
shock.
Before removing the cover from the
GR2000-B, turn off the power switch
and unplug all the cables including the
power cable. Even if the power switch
is turned off, electricity continues to be conveyed into the electric circuit through
the cables connected to the device, which can cause a fire or electric shock.
Removing the cover from the device should be done
by a trained engineer or a maintenance staff. This
label is attached to the device.
If the device is dropped and any part is broken, turn
the power switch off, unplug the power cable from
the outlet, and contact service. Continued use may
cause fire or electric shock.
Do not remodel the device. Doing this causes a fire
or an electric shock.
Turn off the power switch when installing or
replacing additional network interface boards or
memory modules.
Do not install the GR2000-B in a dusty or humid location. Doing so may cause
fire or electric shock.
Condensation may form on the surface and inside of the GR2000-B if it is moved
from a cold to a warm location. Using the device in this condition may cause fire
or electric shock. After moving the device between two locations with a large
temperature variation, let the device stand for a few hours before using.
Do not block the ventilation slots. If
you block the ventilation slots, the
inside of the router will overheat and
cause a fire. Secure at least 70 mm of
space on each side of the GR2000-B to
ensure proper air flow through the ventilation slots.
Do not put a heavy object weighing more than 5 kg on the GR2000-B. If you do, it
could damage the router, or else make it fall over and causing damage or injury.
Do not stick your fingers into the
ventilation slots, or allow your hair to
get near the ventilation slots. This
can cause electrical shock or other
physical injuries cased by working
parts.
