Turn off the power switch when installing additional network interface
boards, BCU, cryptographic accelerator, or memories, or replacing them.
Do not put your hands into a working GR2000-B, which could result in shock
or physical injuries caused by a working part.
Regarding the redundant power supplies in the GR2000-BH, it is possible to
add or exchange one power supply while the other power supply is ON.
Before you do so, ask an individual qualified in the maintenance of the
GR2000-B to do it for you.
IF NO SUCH PERSON IS AVAILABLE TO HELP YOU, POWER THE
GR2000-BH OFF AND THEN MAKE THE ADDITION OR EXCHANGE.
If you have a GR2000-BH with dual power supplies, you must POWER OFF
BOTH POWER SUPPLIES before you may consider power to be removed
from the device.
Similarly, do not put your hands into a the unit while either of the
GR2000-BH's power supplies are ON. If you do so, you could receive a
shock or physical injuries caused by a working part.
Wear a wrist strap to prevent static electricity from permanently damaging
components inside the GR2000-B.
