Function of ESP Crosswind Assist
®
ESP Crosswind Assist detects sudden gusts of
side wind and helps the driver to keep the vehicle
in the lane:
®
ESP Crosswind Assist is active at vehicle
R
speeds between approx. 80 km/h and
200 km/h when driving straight ahead or cor-
nering slightly.
The vehicle is stabilised by means of individual
R
brake application on one side.

Activating/deactivating ESP (Electronic Stability

The HOLD function holds the vehicle at a stand-
still without requiring you to depress the brake
pedal, e.g. while waiting in traffic.
