Select the checkboxes in the Program/Configure column and click [Start].
Upgrade start.
10. [Progress:] at the upper right of the screen becomes 100% and "Successfully performed operation (s)" appears in
the Message field, close the writing software.
11. Turn off the unit and disconnect the PC, service harness, and USB blaster cable.
12. Install the rear cover assembly.

FPGA (IC1000) Upgrade
When IC1203 on the BA board is replaced or upgrading the FPGA failed, no information is displayed on the screen and
the front indicator blinks showing an error. In that case, perform the following procedure to upgrade the FPGA (IC1000).
If the FPGA (IC1000) cannot be upgraded successfully, perform
Kernel or FPGA
Failed".
Equipment required
• Personal computer (PC)
OS: Windows 7 or Windows8, Windows8.1
• Switching HUB
• LAN cable (cross cable)
• Terminal software (TeraTerm)
• USB flash drive
• Controller (BKM-17R)
Tip
The FPGA can also be upgraded by using BKM-16R. When using BKM-16R, refer to the instruction manual of
this unit and the operation manual of BKM-16R.
Preparation
1.
Copy the upgrade data to the USB flash drive. (Refer to the operating instructions for the unit.)
