Defect of the SDI driver IC on the BA
board is considered.

The Parallel Remote Function Does not Work
Check the following:
• Check whether cables are connected correctly.
• Check whether the parallel remote pin (pin 5) meets the specification (connected to GND).

Remedy
1.
Input the composite signal to COMPOSITE INPUT.
2.
Measure the voltages of the following parts.
•
FB2000 (analog circuit 3.3 V)
•
FB2001 (analog 3.3 V for IC2001)
•
FB2002 (analog 1.8 V for IC2001)
•
FB2003 (analog 1.8 V for IC2001)
•
FB2004 (analog 3.3 V for IC2001)
If these voltages are not output normally, check the power system.
3.
Measure C2012 and check the composite signal.
•
When the composite signal can be checked:
Replace IC2001.
•
When the composite signal cannot be checked:
Check the clamp circuit (created by Q2000), buffer circuit (created by
Q2001), and constant-current source circuit (created by Q2002).
Remedy
•
When the SDI1 signal is not output: Replace IC2400.
•
When the SDI2 signal is not output: Replace IC2402.
