HDMI
The SDI signal that is input from the HDMI pin is unprotected and decoded in IC2103, and is then input to IC1000.
Composite
The signal that is input from the Composite pin is decoded in IC2001, and is then input to IC1000. The input signal is
directly connected to the CVBS OUT pin. However, a distortion is generated in the output waveform while the unit is
turned off due to the configuration of the internal circuit.
IC1000
The following processes are added to the input video signal in IC1000, and the processed signal is output from CN2900
to the BC board.
• Display video signal selection
• Input video format judgment
• Frame capture
• IP conversion
• Scaling
• Frame rate conversion
• Two-screen processing (Side by Side, Blending, Wipe, Butterfly)
• Closed caption convolution
• Audio level meter convolution

Power Systems
A voltage of 12 V (+12V_BA) is input from the G board to CN0100 and each power system is configured by the step-
down converters on the BA board. The following figure shows the relationship between each step-down converter and
main ICs to which power is supplied.
