EWS4 is a wireless outdoor device with a built-in siren speaker, LED indicators and operates with ELDES alarm systems. The de vice is designed to notify the user by audio and visual signals in the event of alarm. EWS4 has to be bind to the alarm system using software ELDES Utility (alternatively - by sending a corresponding SMS message). Upon successful EWS4 binding process, the system adds one wireless zone and one tamper zone. In case of alarm, the siren provides a sound alarm ( up to 6 minutes long). When you connect EWS4 to an external power supply, it is highly recommended to insert 4 or 6 batteries into device. This way you will ensure the functionality of the device in case when the external power supply is lost. The battery positioning (sequence) doesn't matter when just 4 batteries are in use. Connecting to an external power supply won't affect the regular process of battery level monitoring and the user will be notified about the battery low event as usual. The user must change the batteries whenever the battery low notification is received or if the batteries expiration date has passed (even if those batteries are still usable). Additionally, user can connect the EWS4 siren to ESIM384 AUX+/AUX- power supply terminals (max. 2 sirens per alarm system) or use a separate power supply adapter (the one like is used for Pitbull Alarm Pro system). Pitbull Alarm Pro alarm system supports up to 2 EWS4 devices, ESIM384 - up to 8 EWS4 sirens. The maximum wireless connection range is 3000 meters (in open areas).
