7) Attach the cassette lifting plate [1].
When attaching the lifting plate, set the below-mentioned spring [2] (3 pcs)
to each guide sleeve [3] on the back side of the cassette lifting plate.

8) Change the position of the rear paper end guide [1] to desired size posi-
tion.
9) Attach the cassette.
10) Switch on the host machine.
11) A country/region setting screen appears by the model. Make choices ac-
cording to the environment where the machine is used.
12) Press 'Additional Functions Key' and enter user mode.
13) Select 'PAPER SETTINGS' and press 'OK'.
14) Select the cassette (CASSETTE 1 or CASSETTE 2*1) to be set by cursor
and press 'OK'.
*1: if equipped with optional cassette.
15) Select the paper size (A4, LTR or LTG) to be set by cursor and press
'OK'.
16) Press stop key and exit from user mode.

1)Connect the power cord [1] into the AC inlet.
2.2.6 Connecting the Cable
1)Attach the ferrite core [2] to the user's USB cable, and then connect the
USB cable to the USB port of the host machine.
To reduce noise, attach the ferrite core as close to the USB port of the host
machine as possible.
