AUTO THROTTLE SYSTEM - INSPECTION/CHECK
Purpose
Verify that the thrust reverser diodes have not opened or shorted.
NOTE: The following procedure requires qualified operators using approved aircraft operational
procedures.
NOTE: Perform the following procedures per the Supplemental Time Limits and Maintenance
Checks Manual, and whenever the thrust reverser diodes are replaced.
Equipment and Facilities Required
(1) Equipment
• Wiring Diagram TM452230-08
• Brake-release block tool
(2) Facilities
• External power

ET UP
Apply power to aircraft.
Align the left IRU.
Ensure that EICAS is operational.
Thrust reverser diode failure check
(1) Pull circuit breaker CBP1 E-13, WOW RELAY.
(2) Enter OAT on the FMS Performance Thrust Limit page.
(3) Open LH and RH PDU Access Doors (432AC and 442AC) on the engine cowlings.
(4) Engage ATS by pressing push-button switch on ATS Control Panel.
(a) ATS will engage in SPEED mode.
(b) Thrust Levers will advance toward maximum thrust
