X10DSN-TS motherboard.

About This Motherboard

The Super X10DSN-TS motherboard supports dual Intel® E5-2600 v3/v4 (Socket
R3) series processors which offer the new Intel® microarchitecture 22nm (E5-
2600v3)/14nm (E5-2600v4) processing technology with QuickPath Interconnect
(QPI) speeds of up to 9.6 GT/s, delivering system performance, power efficiency,
and feature sets that are required for next-generation storage platforms. With the
PCH C612 built in, the X10DSN-TS motherboard offers up to 1 TB of DDR4 2400
MHz DIMM memory, and two 10G_LAN (TLAN) connections. This motherboard
provides high-performance computing (HPC) and SIOM networking option support,
and is optimized for virtualization server platforms. Please refer to our website (http://

Manual Organization

Chapter 1 describes the features, specifications, and performance of the mother-
board. It also provides detailed information about the Intel® PCH C612 chipset.
Chapter 2 provides hardware installation instructions. Read this chapter when in-
stalling the processor, memory modules, and other hardware components into the
system. If you encounter any problems, see Chapter 3, which describes trouble-
shooting procedures for video, memory, and system setup stored in the CMOS.
Chapter 4 includes an introduction to BIOS and provides detailed information on
running the BIOS Setup Utility.
Appendix A lists software installation instructions.
Appendix B contains UEFI BIOS recovery instructions.
