if it is adequately shielded from external RF energy. Consult your physician to determine
compatibility with your medical device.
Do not use your device in health care facilities when any regulations posted in these areas instruct
you not to do so. Hospitals or health care facilities may be using equipment that could be sensitive
to external RF energy.
Extended Exposure to Loud Noise
Exposure to loud noise from any source for extended periods of time may affect your
hearing. The louder the volume sound level, the less exposure is required to affect
your hearing. To protect your hearing:
Limit the amount of time you use handsfree, headsets or headphones at high
volume.
Avoiding turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
Turn the volume down if you cannot hear people speaking near you.
Failure to heed this warning could result in serious injury.
Aircraft
Airline regulations prohibit using Iridium GO! exec while in the air. Check and comply with the
policy of your airline regarding the use of your device while the aircraft is on the ground. Leave
Iridium GO! exec OFF when boarding an aircraft.
Handling
Handle the Iridium GO! exec with care. It is made of glass, metal, and plastic, and
contains sensitive components. If the glass is broken, or if the Iridium GO! exec is
damaged, or you suspect that it is damaged, discontinue use to avoid injury or
overheating and have the device repaired or replaced by a qualified service center.
The base of the Iridium GO! exec is marked with a hot surface symbol.
The metal base may get hot to touch when operated in higher ambient temperatures and
may remain hot for some time after use.

Calculs de l'exposition maximale admissible
L'iridium GO! exec et les émetteurs radio sous-jacents du produit ont été évalués en fonction des
limites d'exposition maximale admissible (MPE) et jugés inférieurs aux limites MPE lorsque
l'appareil est utilisé à une distance supérieure à 20 cm du corps humain.
Le Centre International de Recherche sur le Cancer (CIRC) a conclu en mai 2011 qu'il existe des
preuves limitées de liens possibles entre les signaux RF et deux types précis de cancers.
La conclusion du CIRC repose sur son examen des études et des
renseignements existants.
Le FCC et la FDA, organismes des États-Unis chargés de fixer les limites d'exposition au
rayonnement, indiquent toutefois qu'il n'y a pas suffisamment de preuves scientifiques pour établir
