Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in serious injury or death caused by fire,
explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
Do not place your Iridium GO! exec near a heat source. Excessive heat can
damage Iridium GO! exec or battery by causing it to swell, leak or malfunction.
Do not dry a wet or damp Iridium GO! exec with an appliance or heat source, such
as a hair dryer or microwave oven.
Do not leave Iridium GO! exec in an automobile or other vehicle with high
temperatures.
Do not drop the Iridium GO! exec because the impact can damage it. Contact your
service provider or Iridium if your Iridium GO! exec or battery has been damaged
from being dropped or exposed to high temperatures
Important: Follow these guidelines when charging your battery:
• For protection and long life, the Iridium GO! exec will only allow charging when the battery
temperature is between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F).
• The supplied AC charger can operate in ambient temperatures up to 25°C. At higher
temperatures and during heavy load the charger will reduce or stop charging.
• New batteries are not fully charged and may take more time to charge.
Battery Disposal
Proper battery disposal is not only important for safety but also benefits the environment.
Consumers should recycle the product (and its internal battery) in accordance with applicable
national, state, or local laws and regulations.
Under EU requirements, all electrical and electronic products must be taken to separate collection
at the end of their working life and must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste.
Do not dispose of the product (and its internal battery) in a fire, because this may
cause an explosion resulting in serious injury or death.
Emergency calling
CHECK WITH YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER FOR LOCAL EMERGENCY NUMBERS (full
international access code, country code, and phone number) for all locations outside the United
States and mainland Australia. Iridium currently only supports in-country emergency call routing to
911 within the United States and to Triple Zero (000) or 112 within mainland Australia. Outside of
the United States and mainland Australia, calls to emergency access numbers such as 999, are
