12.1.4 Pretreatment operating hours:
A fourth press on the menu-key in this menu brings the operating hours of the pretreatment car-
tridge to display.
This operating time has a limiting value, which is set in the UV menu. The fault message that is
displayed when the limiting value is exceeded is "Pretreatment".
The operating hours of the pretreatment are counted over the whole time that the reverse osmo-
sis pump is running.
The display shows:

12.1.5 Cleaning:
A fifth press on the menu key in this menu allows cleaning to be triggered if necessary. Trigger-
ing is made by confirming the requirement with a press on the Enter-key. The pump is started
and the inlet solenoid valve and the rinsing solenoid valve open for a 60 second period.
During cleaning, no fault messages or measured values are shown; when cleaning is finished,
the system is in the last operating mode (operation or stand-by). During cleaning, the remaining
cleaning time is displayed.
