Possible Cause and Action
Cause : Short or open circuit fault has been detected in
a left or right motor.
Action < Check both motors.
Cause : Short or open circuit fault has been detected in
the left Park Brakes.
Action < Check the left Park Brake.
Cause : Short or open circuit fault has been detected in
the right Park Brakes.
Action < Check the right Park Brake and wiring.
Check that the Park Brake is correctly
programmed.
Cause : The battery voltage has fallen below 14V
briefly, or remains below 17V. The batteries
are not being fully charged, or are reaching the
end of their life.
Action < Check the battery connections and recharge
batteries if required. Replace
malfunctioning batteries.
Cause : The battery wiring has more resistance than
desirable for the motor current.
Action < Refer to the Installation section for
minimum battery wire sizes.
Cause : The user has run the batteries flat.
Action < Advise the user that the battery life will be
reduced by fully discharging the batteries.
Cause : The battery voltage has risen above 32V.
Action < May be caused by continuous braking down
a hill at too high speed. The problem will
occur when the batteries are fully charged,
fully discharged, or worn out.
