Defrosting operation
• Below operations are done when defrosting entry conditions are satisfied:
- The compressor and the fan motor are stopped. If upper water tank temperature is ≤ T setting-5°C, the e-heater is on
- The 2-way valve is powered on after 30 seconds;
- The compressor is on after 60 seconds;
• Below operations are done when the defrosting quit conditions are satisfied:
- The compressor off;
- The 2-way valve is powered off after 55 seconds, at the same time the fan motor is
powered on, e-heater power off
-The compressor starts up after 60 seconds.
- Exit defrosting, the unit start to heat again.
• Defrosting off irregularly:
- Even if the unit is switched off (in stand by mode) while defrosting, it will continue to
defrost until the defrosting finish. If the unit is disconnected from main electricity supply – defrosting is not working
- During defrosting the low pressure protection are shielded.
8.3.8.

"Antifreeze mode"

Even when the appliance is in standby mode, if lower tank temp. ≤ 5°C, anti-frozen protection starts. The E-heater is forced to
work.
When lower tank temp. ≥ 10°C, it exits Anti-frozen protection.
When there is problem for lower tank water temp sensor, upper tank water temp sensor controls instead (heat pump working in
normal situation). When there are problems for both upper tank and lower tank temp sensors, anti-frozen protection is not valid – it
displays error code "P06".
8.3.9.

Disinfection weekly cycle. (E-heater icon keeps blinking)

• The E-heater will start each week at the setting time (parameter 13, 23) automatically. (When the unit is off at constant tem-
perature or at standby mode, Anti-legionnaire function is on)
• When upper water tank temp. ≥ 70°C (parameter 4, adjustable), the heater stops. When upper
water tank temp. ≤ 70°C-2°C, the heater starts.
• It keeps the upper water tank temp in range (70°C-2°C) to 70°C for he set disinfection time 30mins (parameter 5, adjustable),
after 30mins, then quit the disinfection. The timer will be
cleared and start to next timer cycle.
• E-heater Priority level: 1) defrost or anti-frozen; 2) disinfection; 3) other controls
Remark: if the disinfection program last over 3 hours, will be forced to quit. When parameter 5=0, means no disin-
fection function

8.3.10. Other important remarks concerning appliance's working modes.

AUTO RESTART! While the unit is ON, but sudden interruption of power supply occurs, the unit is OFF. When pow-
er supply is restored again, the unit will restart to run in premium setting and working condition
FAN WORKING MODES!
Fan will start 5 seconds before compressor
• Fan will be off after compressor is off 30min
• When ambient temp>25°C, fan is in a low speed; When ambient temp. ≤25°C, fan is in high speed; If
there is problem for ambient temp sensor, fan will be in high speed only.
Under fan mode, fan will be in low speed only!
