An on/off signal should be transmited by wire, from PV system's control unit to the main PCB of the heat pump water heater. The wire
should be connected to free contacts, designated by "PV" (Fig.23), located on the main PCB.
Once the heat pump detects the signal from PV, the heat pump or e-heater will be driven by solar PV, and the heat pump will also make
the water setting temperature higher to have more hot water.
PV contact (Fig.23) should be connected to the PV system. The logic of PV function is as follow:
When parameter 17 = 1, PV function is available.
When PV contacts are open, water tank set temp(parameter 00) is valid;
When PV contacts are closed then water tank set temp (parameter 00) is valid and Parameter 00=65°C (max).

Resetting of safety thermostat 34 (Fig.9)
The device is equipped with a safety thermostat. When manually reset, the equipment is tripped in case of over-heating.
In order to reset the protection, it is necessary to:
Disconnect the device from the mains power supply;

Remove the plastic cover 35 by undoing the appropriate locking screws;
•
Manually reset the safety thermostat 34 (Fig. 9).

Reassemble the plastic cover 35 that was previously removed
