Create a Personal Directory

Read (upload) – To copy the directory from the telephone to the PC.
Program (download) – To install a directory from the PC to the
telephone.
Import – To copy a directory from another location into the active
PC Utility window.
Export – To copy a directory from the active PC window to another
location. Use export to create a backup file.
Click on Help on the Main Menu bar.
Click on Personal Directory Utility Help and select the help topic.
Open the Personal Directory PC Utility.
The program opens with the default "Personal Directory" window. The cursor
insertion point is in the name field on the first line.
Enter a name.
Press the Tab key to move to the Telephone Number section.
Enter a telephone number. To insert a 1.5-second pause in the dialing string,
enter a comma (,).
Press the Tab key to move to the next line.
Continue to enter names and telephone numbers.
Save or export the directory before downloading it to the M3904/M3905 set
to prevent the loss of data.
