J VOL and Power: Press this button to turn the system off and on. Turn it to
adjust the volume.
K TA: Press this button to turn Traffic Announcement on or off.
L SOUND: Press this button to access settings for Treble, Midrange, Bass, Fade
and Balance. Use the up and down arrow buttons to select the various settings.
When you make your selection, press the left and right arrow buttons to change
the settings. Press OK to set or press SOUND to exit. Sound settings can be
set for each audio source independently.
M MENU: Press this button to access the menu where you can adjust Audio, Clock
and language settings.
N PHONE: Press this button to access the phone features. See Ford Audio later
in this chapter.
O MEDIA: Press this button to access your auxiliary inputs or switch between
bluetooth audio devices you plug into the input jack or USB port.
Note: An integrated multi-function display
shows important information about your
audio system controls.

Audio System

Function buttons 1 to 4 are context
dependent, and change according to the
current unit mode. The description for the
function displays in the screen.
On, Off, Volume Control Knob
Press the On, Off control. This will also
operate the unit for up to one hour with the
ignition turned off.
The radio will switch off automatically
after one hour.
Sound Button
This will allow you to adjust the sound
settings (for example bass, middle and
treble).
1. Press the SOUND button.
2. Use the up and down arrow buttons to
select the required setting.
3. Use the left and right arrow buttons to
make the necessary adjustment. The
display indicates the level selected.
4. Press the OK button to confirm the
new settings.
