Heated seats: Press the button to switch the heated seats on and off. See
Heated Seats (page 109).

A/C: Press the button to switch the air conditioning on or off. To improve the
time to reach a comfortable temperature in hot weather, drive with the windows
open until you feel cold air through the air vents.
Note: In certain conditions (for example, maximum defrost), the air conditioning
compressor may continue to operate even though the air conditioning is
switched off.

Power: Press the button to switch the system on and off.

AUTO: Press the button to switch on automatic operation. Adjust to select the
desired temperature. Fan speed, air distribution, air conditioning operation, and
outside or recirculated air are automatically adjusted to heat or cool the vehicle
to maintain the desired temperature. You can also turn off dual zone mode by
pressing and holding the button for greater than two seconds.

Heated rear window: Press the button to switch the heated rear window on
and off. See Heated Windows and Mirrors (page 100).
K
Windshield defrost. Press the button to redirect the air flow through windshield
air vents.
L
MAX Defrost: Press the button to switch on defrost. Air conditioning
automatically turns on, and fan speed and air inlet positions are automatically
adjusted to best settings required for maximum defrost. You can also use this
setting to defrost and clear the windshield of a thin covering of ice. The heated
rear window also automatically turns on when you select maximum defrost.

before operating the heated windows.

Press the button to clear the
window of thin ice and fog.

Heated Rear Window

automatically turn off after a short period
of time.
Note: Do not use razor blades or other
sharp objects to clean the inside of the rear
window or to remove decals from the inside
of the rear window. This may cause damage
to the heated grid lines and will not be
covered by your warranty.
