Removing the fuel filter assembly
Cover the fuel components using a rag to pre-
vent fuel from spilling out.
Checking the fuel filter assembly
1. Check:
• No air leakage
Air leakage Replace the O-ring, fuel cup
assembly, or fuel filter assembly.

a. Connect the special service tool "1" to the
fuel inlet "a".
b. Block the fuel outlet "b" using a rubber plug
"2", and then apply the specified positive
pressure. Replace the O-ring, fuel cup as-
sembly, or fuel filter assembly if the speci-
fied pressure cannot be maintained for 15
seconds or more.
