INFINITY CENTRAL STATION & M300 QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
FALSE ALARMS DUE MOVEMENT AND/OR ARTIFACT

1.
Ensure that the recommendations for lead preparation are fol-

2.
Ensure that the lead wires are secured.
3.
For M300 patients, ensure that the transmitter is stabilized (in

Isolate the patient from auxiliary equipment, if possible.
5.
Initiate a manual ECG Relearn.
DIFFICULTY MONITORING PACED RHYTHM
If the monitor is not identifying paced rhythms:

2.
Reposition the electrodes for pacer patient.
3.
If the pacer spike is too small and the monitor is unable to de-
tect it:
Try monitoring a single lead such as V1 or V5.
o
Try monitoring a lead that displays a larger pacer spike.
o
Increase the detection sensitivity (gain).
o
4.
If the pacer spike is too large and the monitor is signaling asys-

Monitor a lead that displays a pacer spike smaller than
