INFINITY CENTRAL STATION & M300 QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
TO PAUSE ALL ACTIVE AUDIO ALARM SIGNALS OF AN INDIVIDUAL
PATIENT'S BEDSIDE MONITOR/M300 & ICS*
In the waveform area of the viewport of the bedside moni-
-
tored patient, select the Audio pause button (time length de-
pendent on bedside setting):
In the menu bar of the BedView page of the bedside-monitor
-
patient, select the Bed Audio Pause button
(time length dependent on bedside setting).
Note: Based on the model, software version & settings the follow-
ing may conditions may occur: The ICS, M300 & bedside monitor
may respond differently to the Audio paused state. Default alarm
volumes can be set independently for High, Medium and Low-
priority alarms.
TO SUPPRESS ALL AUDIO & VISUAL ALARM SIGNALS FOR A M300
PATIENT FOR A PRE-CONFIGURED TIME
In the menu bar of the BedView page of the M300 patient, se-
-
lect the Alarm pause button.
-
To cancel before countdown complete select the Alarm pause
button, countdown clock will disappear.
Must be completed at bedside for bedside monitored patients.

WHEN THE SPEAKER VOLUME AT THE BEDSIDE MONITOR OR THE
M300 HAS BEEN SET TO ZERO
The following symbol (in yellow) appears in the header bar of
-
the viewport, above the parameter box:
EXTERNAL AUDIO ALARMS
When external audio alarms such as ventilators and incubators
-
(sometimes referred to as MIB) are disabled (set to zero) at the
ICS, the following symbol (in orange) appears in the upper right
corner of the patient's viewport:
