3. Detach the plug cap and remove the spark plug
with the box wrench.

4. The appropriate clearance between the two
electrodes of the spark plug is 0.7 mm (0.028") to 0.8
(0.031") mm. Adjust the clearance if it is too wide or too
narrow.
Clean thoroughly or replace the spark plug if it has
accumulated carbon or is contaminated.
For replacement, use NGK CMR6H.

5. Install the spark plug and attach the plug cap, and
then attach the plug cover.
Greasing the gear case
Interval for refilling: Every 30 operating hours
Usable grease: Shell Alvania 2 or equivalent
Remove the bolt on the gear case and refill with grease.

NOTE: You can purchase genuine Dolmar/Makita
grease from your Dolmar/Makita dealer.
Cleaning the fuel filter
CAUTION:
