RECOIL STARTER AND VALVE TIMING INSPECTION PLUG
• Remove the recoil starter 1.
• Remove the valve timing inspection plug 2.
CYLINDER HEAD COVER
• Remove the cylinder head cover 1.
CAMSHAFT
• Turn the crankshaft to bring the "TDC" line A on the starter
clutch to the index mark B of the crankcase.
NOTE:
At the above condition, the piston is at TDC of compression
stroke and also the engraved lines C on the camshafts are par-
allel with the mating surface of the cylinder head cover.
