Solving Problems—Printing Quality
Cause
One or more of the
print units are
defective.
The Auto-Image
Density Control
(AIDC) detection
sensor is dirty.
AIDC is disabled.
Solution
Remove the print unit(s) and check for
damage. If damaged, replace it (them).
Open the front door, and then press
the AIDC sensor lever a few times.
Check to see if AIDC Enabled is listed
on the start page.
