RADIO OPERATION

Listen to FM radio broadcasts. Press the FUNCTION button on the unit, the display reads [FM] and
the radio frequency.
NOTE: The wired antenna is packed with the power cord as a separated accessory, insert the wired antenna
into the FM socket on the rear cabinet when listening to the radio, and extend the wired antenna to its full
length in order to get the best reception.
AUTO PRESET MEMORY / SCAN
To scan for stations within reception range and save them to preset memory automatically, press and
hold the
/PAIR/SCAN button. After the unit is finished scanning, the unit will automatically tune to
preset number 1 [P-01].
To select the next/previous stored station press the 10/M./FOLD.+ / 10/M./FOLD.- button.

MANUAL PRESET MEMORY OPERATION

Choose which stations to save in preset memory instead of scanning automatically:
1.
Use the :/TUN+ or 9/TUN- button to tune to the station that you want to save as a preset.
> Press the buttons repeatedly to tune the desired radio frequency.
> Press and hold the buttons to start tuning, tuning stop automatically when a previous/next
strong station is received.
Press the PROG./P-MODE button. [MEM] and [P-01] will flash on the display to indicate that

you are saving the station as Preset Memory 01. (To change the preset memory number, press
the 10/M./FOLD.+ or 10/M./FOLD.- buttons.)

Press the PROG./P-MODE button to finish saving the station.
4.
To save another station, repeat steps 1 to 3. You may save up to 30 FM stations.
CD/MP3 OPERATION
This system only can playback digital audio CD/MP3, finalized digital audio CD-Recordable (CD-R)
discs, finalized digital audio CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) discs and CD-DA format digital audio
CD/CD-R/CD-RW discs.
LOADING A DISC
1.
Press the FUNCTION button on the unit to select CD mode.
2.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD door, [OPEN] will be shown on the display.
3.
Place an audio CD/MP3 DISC into the tray with the front side facing up.
4.
Close the CD door. The display will show the [READING], then the total number of tracks and
play time would be shown, and the playback will starts from the first track.
5.
To remove the CD, press STOP button to stop playback, and then press OPEN/CLOSE button
to open CD door, the display will show [OPEN]. Hold the CD by its edges, and carefully take it
out.
NOTE: Make sure the disc is stopped before opening the CD DOOR. To ensure good system performance;
wait until the unit completely reads the disc before proceeding. If no disc loaded into the tray, or the disc is
unreadable, the display will show [NO DISC].
PLAYING A DISC
1.
The unit will start playback from track 1 after reading finished. The track no. and play time would
be shown on the display. To pause playback, press the
and current track no. will flash on the display. To resume playback, press the
button again.

To stop playback, press the STOP button, the total number of tracks and play time will show on
the display.
