6.4.2 Switching off the device
With mains operation:
> By briefly pressing the On/Standby
standby mode. [Standby] appears briefly on the display. The date and time are
shown on the display. The display brightness in standby mode can be adjusted
by following the instructions in Section 13.2.
The internal battery is only charged when the radio is in standby mode.
In battery mode:
> In rechargeable battery mode, the device is always switched off completely by
pressing the On/Standby
The additional battery cannot be charged in the DIGITRADIO 231 OD. To do this,
remove the battery from the DIGITRADIO 231 OD and use the original charger
from your battery manufacturer.
