Top Plate
The top plate is held in place by 2 Phillips-head
screws (1 on each side) and 2 plastic rails (1 on each
side).
To remove the top plate:

Remove the front panel. (See

Remove the 2 Phillips-head screws (1 on each
side) that hold the plastic rails in place.
3.
Slide the 2 plastic rails forward and out.

Note: The drum can be removed without removing
the top plate, if desired. However, if the top plate is
left in place, installation and removal of the drum
can be diffi cult due to the limited space around the
drum.
The drive belt extends from the motor pulley, past
the idler pulley, and around the perimeter of the
dryer drum.

Drive Belt
Remove the front panel. (See
Reach under the left side of the drum, and pull
the idler pulley to the left to take tension off of
the belt.
Remove the belt from the motor pulley and
idler pulley. Pull the belt through the front of the
dryer.
Place the belt in position around the front of the
drum.
Reach under the left side of the drum and place
the belt in position around the motor pulley.
Push the idler pulley to the left and place the
belt onto the idler pulley.
Release the idler pulley and guide the belt into
position.
