Back Cover
It is necessary to remove the back cover to access
the heater assembly, idler bracket, and belt switch.
The cover is attached to the back of the cabinet with
9 Phillips-head screws and 2 slots that engage 2
tabs on the cabinet.

Drive Belt
The drive belt extends from the motor pulley, past
the idler pulley, and around the perimeter of the
dryer drum.
To remove the drive belt:
1.
Remove the back cover. (See

To release belt tension, reach under the left side
of the drum, grasp, and push the idler pulley up
to the right.
3.
Remove the belt from the motor pulley and idler
pulley.

5. Lift the front of the drum up and pull the belt out
through the front of the dryer.
