5. Slide the wiring harness guard up and out.
Wiring Harness Guard
Caution: In the following step, to prevent
component or wiring damage, ensure the main
control board box and display assembly are
supported. Do not suspend these components by
their wiring.
6. Carefully place the main control board box and
the display assembly off to the side of the dryer.
7. Lift the top cover vertically and slide it forward
to clear the front tabs.

WARNING: Sharp edges may be exposed when
servicing the dryer. Use caution to avoid injury
and wear Kevlar gloves and sleeves or equivalent
protection.
To remove the front panel:
1. Remove the top cover. (See
2. Open the dryer door and remove the 4 Phillips-
head screws from the front panel.
3. Remove the 2 Phillips-head screws that hold the
front panel to the top plate.
4. Lift and tilt the front panel forward slightly then
disconnect the wiring from the door switch.
