Test Options

The scheme for transcutaneous pacemaker testing is shown in Figure 3-1. The
specified (or default) test load is pre-selected with each algorithm. If desired,
you can easily select any test load (50 Ω to 1550 Ω in 50 Ω steps) with each
measurement algorithm.
Ensure that you select a test load within the device manufacturer's specified
operational range. Device-specific measurement algorithms are selectable for
the following list of manufacturers:
Physio-Control Lifepak Series (50 Ω)
HP / Agilent Codemaster (400 Ω)
GE / Marquette Responder Series (300 Ω)
Medical Data Electronics (600 Ω)
Medical Research Laboratories (500 Ω)
Zoll Medical PD-Series (1000 Ω)
Zoll Medical M-Series (100 Ω)
Tests requiring ECG simulation have three available active outputs:
Low Level (2): 5 Lead: RL / N, RA / R, LA / L, LL / F, and V1 / C1
Transthoracic: Across the selected ventricular test load
High Level (1): Output Amplitude tracks low level Lead I (1000:1)
+ / - 5.0V-peak maximum amplitude
Connector Type: Subminiature Phone Jack
