How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the
C-NaviGator III
Section 3 - USB connection

The C-Nav3050 GNSS receiver can be connected directly to a C-NaviGator III
via USB using the supplied Positronic 9-Pin to USB & DB9(P/N NAV94-310273-
3006LF C).
The Red Y-Cable with USB header must be connected to COM2 for the USB
connection to be possible.
The only other consideration before attempting connection via USB is to make
sure the USB mode is set to "Serial"; any other USB modes will not allow you to
control the unit via USB with the C-NaviGator.
To check the current USB mode connect via Serial first following Section 2 -
Serial connection (Page 8) then go to the menu at:
Menu / Settings / Port X 3050 / more / Hardware Settings
If the USB mode is currently set to "Serial Port" then nothing needs to be
changed, if however it is not please change this value to "Serial Port" and press
Apply.
