How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the
C-NaviGator III
It should now be possible to remove the serial/USB connection and unassign the
port in the Serial Ports menu (if it is no longer to be used). The Ethernet
connection should now be configured correctly to allow control of the receiver.
We can now look at configuring the setup to use a static IP address. This can be
done by making the current DHCP assigned IP address the static IP (thus we
know this IP is a free and available IP) or we can look to use another IP address
that is free on the network. It will be required for you to connect via Serial or USB
to make any changes to current IP addresses.
