How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the
C-NaviGator III

Non-Direct Ethernet Connection

Perform the following steps to configure the receiver for a Non-Direct (Over a
network) Ethernet connection:
1. Connect to the C-Nav3050
as a serial port or USB port. Refer to earlier sections if this is not
preconfigured.
2. Connect the Positronic 9-Pin connector of the Ethernet cable (P/N 94-
310265-3006LF) to COM1 – LAN of the C-Nav3050
Connect the RJ45 plug end to your network.
3. Navigate to the following menu
Menu / C-Nav 3050 Port X / Next / Ethernet Configuration
4. Toggle Mode to DHCP and then hit Apply.
