    How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the C-NaviGator III Direct Ethernet Connection Perform the following steps to configure the receiver for a Direct Ethernet connection: ® 1. Connect to the C-Nav3050 GNSS receiver on an available port, such as USB or a serial COM port, this is required temporally while the settings are correctly entered.

    USB port. Refer to earlier sections if this is not preconfigured. 2. Connect the Positronic 9-Pin connector of the Ethernet cable (P/N 94- 310265-3006LF) to COM1 – LAN of the C-Nav3050 ® GNSS receiver. Connect the RJ45 plug end to your network.

  • Page 23 How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the C-NaviGator III To make a connection to the C-NaviGator III one of the virtual Ethernet ports will be required to be enabled and configured to allow an incoming connection. The information will be obtained in the next step.
  • Page 24 How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the C-NaviGator III The first step is to setup an Ethernet Virtual Port, which allows a Port to be used for incoming/outgoing connections. In this instance we will be using it for a connection with the C-NaviGator III for control purposes.
