How to Connect a C-Nav3050 to the
C-NaviGator III
To make a connection to the C-NaviGator III one of the virtual Ethernet ports will
be required to be enabled and configured to allow an incoming connection. The
information will be obtained in the next step.
1. Firstly ensure that the C-NaviGator III is present on the Network, Ethernet
cable plugged in at both the C-NaviGator III and Network end.
2. Now the receiver has been assigned an IP address, the C-NaviGator III
will also need one. The C-NaviGator's networking settings can be altered
at:
Menu / Settings / System Network Settings
3. Make sure the Config. Type is set to DHCP then press Apply.
The network should then assign the C-NaviGator an IP address on the
network (press query to update the page). In the example configuration
the office network assigned the C-NaviGator an IP address of 10.6.1.231.
With both receiver and controller now present on the network you now need to
make the necessary changes to allow network communication between devices.
