Adjusting The Push Bar With Ratchet Joints (Option) - Otto Bock Discovery Instructions For Use Manual

1) Release the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the back tubes (see fig. 54, item 1).
2) Adjust the height of the push handles.
3) Firmly tighten the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the back tubes (see fig. 54, item 1).
INFORMATION: Adjust both push handles to the same height.

7.8.2 Adjusting the push bar with ratchet joints (option)

The height and angle of the push bar can be adjusted in order to make pushing easier for the attendant:

1) Release the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the back support tubes (see fig. 55, item 1).
2) Adjust the height of the push bar.
3) Firmly tighten the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the back support tubes (see fig. 55, item 1).
Adjusting the angle of the push bar with ratchet joints
1) Release the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the ratchet joints (see fig. 55, item 2).
2) Move the push bar to the desired angle.
3) Firmly tighten the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the ratchet joints (see fig. 55, item 2).
