DEFINITION
Project 25; a suite of standards for digital radio communications for use
by federal, state/province and local public safety agencies, enabling
communication within and between agencies during emergencies.
Portable Digital Repeater
Private Line / Digital Private Line (In band signaling controlling squelch
control in analog radio systems); also known as CTCSS (Continuous
Tone-Coded Squelch System) or DCS (Digital Coded Squelch).
