5. MAINTENANCE

CAUTION:
 Before carrying out maintenance or cleaning, the extractor
hood must be disconnected from the power supply. Ensure
that the stove hood is unplugged from the wall socket and
that the plug has been removed.
The external surfaces are susceptible to scratches and
abrasions, so follow the cleaning instructions to ensure that
the best possible result is obtained without damage.
Cleaning and maintenance should be carried out when the
appliance is cold, especially during cleaning. Avoid leaving alkaline
or acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) on the surfaces.
Stainless steel should be cleaned regularly (e.g. weekly) to ensure a
long service life. Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth. A specialized
stainless steel cleaning product can be used.
The filters can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher. If washing
by hand, soak for approximately 3 minutes in water with a non-
abrasive detergent to loosen grease and then gently scrub with a
brush. Do not press the filter too hard, to avoid possible damage.
(Allow it to dry naturally out in the sunlight).
Filters should be washed separately and should not be mixed with
dishes and other kitchen utensils.
