Leading Edge Erase Adjustment (FT2070)
1.
Lay a scale on the exposure glass, aligning it
with the original scale as shown to the right.
2.
Make a few copies and check that the leading
edge erase is within specification.
Leading Edge Erase Specification
3.5 ± 1 mm (0.14 ± 0.04")
NOTE: * Leading edge erase is the distance "E" in
the figure (the length of scale that has
been erased).
3.
If the leading edge erase is out of specifica-
tion, adjust it using DIP SW 701-2, 3 and 4 on
the optics board.
