Auto ID Sensor Adjustment (FT2070)
1. Adjust the light intensity first. (See "Light
Intensity Adjustment" section.)

Turn off the main switch.
Lay three sheets of white copy paper on the

exposure glass and turn on DIP switch 101-4
(Test Mode) on the main board.

Close the front cover, turn on the main switch.
5. Press the Copy Quantity key until 5 is dis-
played in the Copy Counter.
6. Press the Start key.
NOTE: * Confirm that the first image density level
is selected automatically.
7. Wait for a few seconds until the light intensity
is stable.
8. Adjust VR102 until a hexadecimal number
(base 16) between 7A and 7F is displayed in
the Reproduction Ratio indicator.
NOTE: * Do this adjustment as quickly as possi-
ble. If it takes over one minute to
adjust, the thermoswitch opens.
