Uneven Image Density Adjustment (FT2070)
1. Adjust the exposure lamp position. (See
"Exposure Lamp Positioning" section.)
2. Make a few copies of the OS-A3 chart and
check that the difference in the image density
between both sides is within specification.
Side-to-side Image Density Specification:
Within one level difference between the two
gray scales on the OS-A3 chart.
3. If side-to-side image density is out of
specification, adjust it using the uneven den-
sity adjusting plate.
NOTE: * When adjusting the uneven density
adjusting plate, remove the upper rear
cover and the slider stopper (1 screw),
then move the slider fully to the left.
