Friction Belt Replacement
1.
Remove the lower left cover (2 screws) and
the lower front cover (2 screws).
2.
Remove the front left and rear left locking
plates (original feed-in side) from the frame (1
screw each) and swing the transport belt up
and away from the feed roller.
3.
Remove the gear cover (2 screws).
4.
Lift out the feed roller assembly (4 screws and
3 connectors).
5.
Disconnect the original set sensor.
6.
Fold back the mylar and disconnect the fric-
tion belt spring.
7.
Peel off the friction belt. When installing the
friction belt, make sure that the positioning
notch engages with the tab.
8.
Remove the friction belt spring from the fric-
tion belt by sliding the pin for installation on
the new belt.
NOTE: * Be careful not to deform the spring.
