CAUSES
(1) Transfer corona wire is dirty.
(2) Transfer corona wire is
broken.
(3) Transfer power pack failure.
(4) Master unit has exceeded
service life.
(5) Paper is damp.
(6) Development roller does not
rotate.
(1) Charge corona wire is broken.
(2) Charge power pack failure.
(1) Paper is curled.
(2) Paper is damp.
REPAIR (TREATMENTS)
(1) Clean it with cotton swabs.
(2) Replace the transfer corona wire.
(3) Check the circuit and replace the
defective part.
(4) Replace the master unit.
(5) Change the paper on the paper tray.
(6) Check the drive mechanism.
(1) Replace the charge corona wire.
(2) Check the circuit and replace the
defective part with a new one.
(1) Correct the paper curl before
making copies.
(2) Change the paper on the paper tray.
O Instruct operator how to store
paper when it is not to be used for
a long time.
O Thick and/or thin paper some-
times make faint copies due to
paper quality.
