7-9. Leading Edge Registration Adjustment
1. Adjust the copier leading edge registration

Draw a line 10 mm from the leading edge of a

sheet of copy paper and make a few copies of
it in the DF mode.
3 . Check that the leading edge registration is
within specification.
Leading Edge Registration Specification:
0 ± 3 m m
4. If the leading edge registration is out of the
specification, adjust using DIP switches 101-
3, 4, 5, and 6 on the DF main board. (Remove
the lower left cover.)
NOTE: * When making copies after adjusting
leading edge registration, make sure that
the lower left cover is closed firmly.
* When DIP switches 101-3, 4, 5, and 6
are OFF, OFF, OFF, and ON, the DF
moves in free run mode.
