CAUSES
(1) Paper is curled.
(2) Paper is damp.
(1) Thermistor is dirty.
(2) Hot roller strippers are
dirty.
(3) Deformed toner metering blade.

(1) Insufficient friction of the
slider clutch (FT2050).
(1) Paper is incorrectly loaded.
(2) Paper stiffness.
(3) Paper feed clutch failure.
(4) Paper feed and registration
solenoid failure.
(5) Paper feed drive failure.
(1) Lack of lubricant.
REPAIR (TREATMENTS)
(1) Correct the paper curl.
(2) Change the paper in the cassette.
(1) Clean it with a damp cloth.
(2) Clean them with a damp cloth.
(3) Replace the blade with new one.
(1) Replace the clutch.
(Forward or Reverse)
(1) Load the paper in the cassette
correctly.
(2) Use recommended paper.
(3) Apply "Mobil Temp 78" to the clutch
spring.
(4) Check or replace the solenoid.
(5) Check the paper feed drive
mechanism.
(1) Apply "Grease 501" to the gears.
(2) Apply "Grease 501" to the fiber
optics holders.
