SCALANCE X204RNA allows the following mounting positions:
Horizontal
Horizontal installation of the rack (DIN rail).
Vertical
Vertical installation of the rack (DIN rail).
On side with the interfaces pointing upwards
Mounting position of a SCALANCE X204RNA EEC
SCALANCE X204RNA EEC allows the following mounting positions:
Horizontal
Horizontal installation of the rack (DIN rail).
Vertical
Vertical installation of the rack (DIN rail).
Remember that the permitted temperature ranges depend on the
position of the installed device. You will find the permitted temper‐
ature ranges in the section "Technical specifications (Page 149)".
