7.2 Removing and cleaning of the drain pump filter
❖ The drain pump filter in your washing machine prevents solid objects such as
buttons, coins, fabric fibres, etc. from clogging the pump impeller when draining
the wash water.
We strongly recommend cleaning the drain pump filter regularly (monthly).
You must clean the drain pump filter if the appliance does not drain the water
properly or does not run the spinning programme.
You must clean the drain pump filter if the pump is blocked by any foreign object
(e.g., buttons, coins etc.).
WARNING! Do not clean the drain pump filter while the washing
machine is in operation! Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from
the mains before.
WARNING! If there is hot water in the washing machine, ensure before
residual water drainage that the water has cooled down completely. RISK
OF SCALDING! RISK OF BURNS!

EMOVING AND CLEANING OF THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER
1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Open the cover panel (A) of the drain pump filter: press on the groove (B) of the
cover panel (A) using one of your fingers (s. fig. below).
